Philippe the Original opened its doors to Los Angelenos back in 1908 and is credited with inventing the French Dip Sandwich. Since the creation of the French Dip, Philippe's has served the classic dish along with popular sides including, potato salad, coleslaw, beef stew and chili. Still owned and operated by the same family since the 1920's, Philippe's celebrated their 110th Anniversary in 2018 - being the oldest continually operating restaurant in Los Angeles!

An historic LA icon! This is a Dodgers pregame must. The food and atmosphere are great. Highly recommended

Great place! We were in CA for 5 days and ate there pretty much everyday! Great for breakfast or getting a cup of coffee! I believe this place also uses only Organic good, so even better!

There are two Lots located on the Philippe's property ample parking spaces for you to enjoy your lunch no rush complimentary as long as you are eating

Wheelchair accessible at one entrance. Entrance closest to parking lots has stairs. Down a slight hill to the other door, no stairs.

Ofc. Quickly. Many lanes are opening.
